Yesterday, I went to the island of Macau with the ferry. Macau is a island close to Hong Kong, the island was previously a portuguese colony so here it is possible to find much of the European and especially the portuguese culture. You can go to Macau with the ferry from Hong Kong city, the trip takes one hour and costs about 300 hong kong dollars both ways. Macau is called the Las Vegas of Asia and here you can find many exclusive and luxurious hotels and casinos. Yesterday I visited the MGM hotel where I got to see a temporarily butterfly exhibition. They had decorated the ceiling with big butterflies of glass and I got the opportunity to get a close look of real butterflies as well. So lovely!
